Gemix
RTP settings, and who runs which
Play'n GO publishes several RTP settings for most titles and the casino chooses one. The figure below is the highest published setting; reduced settings are common, and each casino's actual setting is checked in the game client.
| Setting | RTP | House edge | Casinos on this setting |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full | 96.75% | 3.25% |
How Gemix plays
Gemix is a 7×7 grid of gems where wins come from patterns of matching symbols rather than lines or simple clusters. Winning gems disappear and new ones fall in, so one spin can chain several wins. A meter at the side counts cleared symbols; every 50 triggers Crystal Charge, a feature that depends on which of the game’s three worlds you are in. The Mine, Crystal Forest and Cave worlds each have their own charge effect, and the game moves to the next world after a number of charges.
Wizard wilds appear on the grid and join wins as any symbol. Like Reactoonz, there are no free spins: the base game carries everything through cascades and charges.
Volatility in practice
Medium. Wins come more often than in Reactoonz, the grid fills quickly, and Crystal Charge arrives regularly enough to keep sessions moving. The 6,025x ceiling needs a long chain with a charge feature and a premium gem, which is rare.
RTP settings
The highest published setting is 96.75%. Public listings show the game at 94.78% at some casinos, which is about €20 per €1,000 wagered less. Check the info panel inside the game; the casino pages on this site list each operator’s setting for the slots we audit.
