Pirots X

How Pirots X plays

Pirots X is the series’ spin-off: a 5×5 cluster game. Five or more identical symbols next to each other form a win, and each cluster win leaves a wild behind. The birds land in nests on the grid and collect symbols of their own colour, which raises a global multiplier, and they trigger features at random along the way.

There are plain wilds, multiplier wilds and two wild features. A wild that touches several winning clusters splits, and several wilds in one winning cluster merge into a multiplier wild. Multiplier wilds first multiply their cluster win, then the global multiplier is applied on top.

Bonus games

Three bonus symbols start the free-drops bonus game, where the global multiplier stays for the whole round and free-drop symbols add more drops. If one of the three is a super bonus symbol, the super bonus starts instead: it is played on the maximum grid size and gives a feature chest at the start of every free drop.

Volatility in practice

ELK rates Pirots X at 8 of 10 and gives a hit frequency of 24.0%, so about one spin in four pays. The 10,000x ceiling depends on a high global multiplier meeting multiplier wilds, which mostly happens in the bonus.

X-iter

ELK’s X-iter menu has five modes: 3x, 5x, 25x, 100x and 500x the bet. The 3x mode gives more than three times the chance to trigger a bonus, and the 500x super bonus is played on the maximum grid with feature chests on every free drop. X-iter is not offered in every market, and buying in does not raise the RTP.

RTP settings

94.0% according to ELK’s product sheet, the same as Pirots 2, 3 and 4. Check the info panel in the game before you play.
